Stamp Rooms: Stills from Digital Animation

He left Me Africa II. December 2019. Stills taken from digital video animation
(unfinished) incorporating 3D modelling to create 5 virtual rooms, costumes, digitally
printed textiles ( costumes all designed and made by artist), and hi-res scans of stamp collection. I
present these stills as works in their own right.

About the project:
In 2015 my father died leaving his British Empire stamp collection to myself and my 3
brothers, dividing the collection up according to territory. The stills from this unfinished
animation represent the 2nd iteration of this work entitled, He Left Me Africa.
